When Flexjet resumed operations out of Abu Dhabi, I was curious more than excited. Sharjah had quietly become my preferred jump-off point anyway. Faster drive times, fewer slot delays and less operational noise.
What I care about is system behavior. On that trip, I ran a live dashboard on a 12-inch machine tethered to the in-flight KA-band. Ping held under 400 milliseconds most of the flight, but I still logged a jitter spike during descent, near Musandam as per the onboard map.
When you're 41,000 feet above friction, the clarity can be startling. It's not the lack of noise that helps, it's the sense that nothing is interrupting your thought loop.
